Terms of use
Last updated 1 August 2026
By using Vipani you agree to these terms. They cover what we promise, what we expect from you, and what happens when something goes wrong.
What Vipani is
Vipani is a marketplace. Products are sold by independent sellers, not by Vipani. The seller is the merchant of record and issues the invoice. We provide the platform, the payment flow, the logistics tie-ups and the dispute process.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older to place an order.
- Keep your password and OTPs private. Anything done from your signed-in account is treated as done by you.
- One person, one account. Accounts created to abuse coupons will be closed.
Orders and pricing
- Prices include GST. Delivery and platform fees are shown before payment.
- An order is a request to buy. It is confirmed only when the seller accepts it.
- If a listing carries an obvious pricing error, the seller may cancel and refund in full.
- Coupons apply one per order, subject to the minimum order value and expiry printed on them.
Delivery
Delivery dates are estimates based on the seller’s dispatch record and the courier’s service level for your pincode. Weather, strikes and local restrictions can delay a parcel; we will keep you updated when that happens.
Returns and refunds
The return window is printed on every product page. See the refund policy for the full process, exclusions and refund timelines.
Seller obligations
- Sell only goods you are legally allowed to sell, with accurate descriptions and images of the actual product.
- Dispatch within the promised window and keep stock counts honest.
- Honour the return window and cooperate with pickups.
- Repeated cancellations, counterfeit listings or misleading images end in removal from the platform.
Prohibited use
- Scraping, automated ordering, or interfering with the site.
- Reselling with fake reviews, or paying for ratings.
- Listing restricted goods: weapons, drugs, wildlife products, counterfeits.
Liability
Vipani’s liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. Sellers remain responsible for product quality, warranty and statutory compliance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
